Performance First® HR Tool Kit
Provides "Ready Made Tools" That Streamline
HR Management Practices
The Canadian Tourism
Human Resource Council (CTHRC) has expanded
its human resource development solutions,
with the recent introduction of the
Performance First® HR Tool Kit, a
pragmatic guide to human resource management.
The kit (a manual and CD) provides the "ready
made tools " needed to recruit, select, hire,
train, coach and manage employees
effectively. Several customizable,
user-friendly templates and forms are
available in the kit and they include
application forms, interview evaluations, job
offer letters, training plans, and employee
manuals to fit the position. Other resources
in the kit include a generic interview guide,
strategies for finding job applicants,
interview evaluation, and employee decision
forms. Customized, occupation specific
inserts termed "Performance Paks," are also
available for Housekeeping Room Attendants;
Entry Level Cooks; Front Desk Agents; Tourism
Visitor Information Counsellors and Food and
Beverage Servers.

human resource managers, supervisors, job
trainers, coaches and owner/operators with an
easy step-by-step approach to executing
effective human resource management
practices. The groundwork has been done so
all that is required of the user is
customization of the forms and

The Performance First® HR Tool Kit is an
adjunct to The Performance First® Series,
a seven book set that provides practical
solutions to several key human resource
management issues and challenges in today's
work environment.
