The National Tourism
Career Awareness Program, "A Career in
Tourism - You Decide How Far to Go" is a free
presentation which provides students and
career seekers of all ages with an
introduction to the tourism industry. Our
message is that the tourism industry can
offer unlimited career potential with many
education and training opportunities.
"A Career in Tourism - You Decide How Far to
Go" is delivered across Canada and has been
developed with a national perspective. Each
province, territory, city, and community
enjoys its own unique tourism industry, so we
rely on the knowledge of our presenters to
provide local content that will help the
audience identify with the industry in their
community. The interchange of local,
national, and international examples
throughout the presentation helps to
demonstrate the diversity and opportunity of
the tourism industry while maintaining a
local tourism connection for the
audience.
